I am feeling an all-out ’90s comeback. Seriously. All I can think about are clunky Dr. Marten’s, long column skirts, and minimalism. Oh, and the video for We Found Love by Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris (think acid washed denim ensembles). Ugly-on-purpose? Perfect.

I recently had the opportunity to attend the Barney’s exclusive launch of the new line AMI by Alexandre Mattiussi at the SF flagship store. The line is masculine, understated, and comfortable: a testament to the designer’s impressive career. Mattiussi has experience at Dior, Givenchy, and Marc Jacobs. The collection can be found online at Barneys.com.

I picked up the perfectly fitted and comfortable Mélange Sweatshirt (pictured above).

I may have had a brief love connection with the disarming Frenchman (pictured above).
